Over the holiday weekend we took an overnight trip to Annapolis.
Here are a few snapshots from our trip. These were taken with my mirrorless DSLR, and I’m slowly learning how to use it to its full potential. Photography is such an interesting thing to learn because there are so many different components to take into account, shutter speed, lighting, the rule of thirds, and so on. Then there are countless things you can do to alter the photo after you take it, it can really be overwhelming at times.
We went to several different places during our short stay, here are the highlights:
The Westin Annapolis – We stayed here one night and I already want to go back. I never sleep well anywhere but home, but these beds are so incredible.
Red Red Wine – This is a cute little wine bar with delicious flat bread pizzas.
Vida Tacos – They only serve two things, tacos and tequila. What more could you want?
Reynolds Tavern – A quaint historic pub
It was a great trip and its close enough to be a day trip so I have a feeling we will visit again soon.
